Premium Endorsements

No additional down payment is due if the additional premium is less than $200. 25% down payment is due for premiums over $200. Financing of endorsements is not permitted after policy has been in force for 6 months. Additional premiums are only added upon request, and only if eligible. After financing endorsements, new payment coupons will be sent to the insured.

Fees (Late and Setup)

A 5% late fee is assessed if payment is not received in our office within the time specified on the finance contract. There is a maximum late fee on Personal Lines risks in South Carolina of $10.

A non-refundable set-up fee will be assessed to all contracts. Annual percentage rates will vary from the actual interest rate due to the assessed fees.

Payments Returned for Insufficient Funds

• South Carolina: $30.00 charge
• North Carolina:  $25.00 charge
• Virginia:              $20.00 charge
• Alabama:          $30.00 charge
• Georgia:           $20.00 charge

Cashiers check, certified check, and money order are the only forms of payment accepted for replacement.

Cancellation for Non-Payment

All policies included on the premium finance agreement are subject to cancellation if payment is not received in our office by the payment due date. In the event the payment is not received, a ten-day notice of intent to cancel will be issued, followed by a cancellation notice.

Ineligible Risks  

• Risks with 100% earned premiums

• Risks located in states other than South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia and Alabama

• Risks underwritten by carriers not approved by AAC

• Risks written on a less-than 6 month basis
